About us
BothHalsAllan directors are qualified HR professionals with early corporate careers. Since the mid 1990s we'd been operating as freelance consultants, primarily in the areas of diversity, flexible working and work-life balance. Fate brought us together in 2000 when we were accredited to the DTI’s Work-Life Balance Challenge Fund. We discovered how much we enjoyed working together and realised the power of our combined skills and expertise.
In 2003 we registered the name HalsAllan Ltd and began developing a range of training programmes and workshops to complement our bespoke consultancy offering.

Our way of working
From the outset we wanted our working practices to model the potential of the 21st Century knowledge economy. We work flexibly in terms of both time and location, and endeavour as far as possible to balance work with other aspects of our lives, including our commitments to our families. In this way, and with the help of new technolgoy, we utilise our skills and social capital for the benefit or our clients and the wider community in which we live and work.
Our associates
We see ourselves as entrepreneurs and independent professionals. Over the years we’ve established strong links with a group of highly skilled associates and draw on their expertise when pulling together a project-specific team. Our clients are secure in the knowledge they are hiring best value expertise when they work with us.
This way of working has enabled us to develop first class networking and social skills, and we know we’re excellent team players. All of this serves us in good stead when faced with the challenge of establishing credibility and fostering relationships inside client organisations.
